CFDA Releases February NYFW Calendar – WWD

The Council of Fashion Designers, in partnership with IMG’s NYFW: The Shows, has released the Official New York Fashion Week Schedule for their February fashion show.

American collections run from February 10 to February 15. Men’s Day will be held on February 10.

The American collections will begin with a Rodarte show on February 10 at 4 pm and end with a show by Luar on February 15 at 8 pm. Thom Browne, the new president of the CFDA, will hold the runway show today. 14 February 17:00

Christian Siriano, who will be showing the CFDA program, the fall show will be at 6 p.m. on February 9, before NYFW officially kicks off.

“Next month’s New York Fashion Week continues to build on last September’s shows with a strong mix of established brands and emerging talent, and overall diversity and representation. We look forward to continuing this renewed momentum in New York this season and beyond, as we see the next generation of American talent rise, Steven Kolb, CFDA’s CEO, told WWD.

The pre-program features 75 designers, including returning brands like Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Area, Batsheva, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Collina Strada, Dion Lee, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Gabriela Hearst, Jason Wu Collection, Khaite taking. LaQuan Smith, Luar, Markarian, Michael Kors, Paloma Spain, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Puppets & Puppets, Sergio Hudson, Simkhai, Sukeina, Tory Burch, Ulla Johnson, Veronica Beard, Who Decides War and Willy Chavarria, among others.

First-time participants in the program’s in-person activations include Heron Preston, Koltson, Cucculelli Shaheen, Ayama Studio, Kallmeyer, Kate Barton, Nayon, and Zimo.

NYFW women’s shows will be held all over New York City, but Spring Studios will remain the main hub for NYFW: The Shows.

Shows and presentations will continue to be offered through Runway360, the CFDA’s central digital hub and business tool to support American fashion brands’ collection releases throughout the year.

A. Potts, All Beneath Heaven, Atelier Cillian, Cross Eyed Moose, Kent Anthony, Nobis and Terry Singh will be screened from 10:30am to 12:00pm during Men’s Day, February 10, and from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. Bulan, Squint Moose, Dionysus, Jahnkoy, Nicholas Raefski, Nobis and Raleigh Workshop. (Squinted-Eyed Deer and Nobis are featured in both sessions.)

Women’s brands presenting by appointment include Cinq a Sept, Libertine and Tara Babylon (all February 10); Libertine (11 February); Ashlyn and Zimo (February 12); Kate Barton, Tanner Fletcher and Tibi (February 13), and Ayama Studio and Kallmeyer (February 14). Tibi will also have appointments for February 14 and February 15.

Companies planning digital releases include: Lapointe (February 10); St. Sintra (February 13); Junny and the NIHL (February 14) and Bed on Water (February 15).

The men’s shows will be held at Daylight Studios, 10th floor, 450 West 31st Street, and Location 05, 7th floor, 450 West 31st Street.
