Daniel Craig Responded to calls from fans puppets to join him in the next installment Knives Out soap opera.
glass bulbThe sequel to the original Knives Out movie premiered on Netflix just before Christmas and has already proven hugely popular on the streaming service.
That’s why people have already started speculating about which stars could join Daniel in the third movie in the series.
And given the festive timing of movie number two, many movie fans already had Muppets in the brainsuggests the gang could be the perfect co-stars for him when he plays former James Bond actor Benoit Blanc in his next role…
The director during an onscreen Q&A with the entire cast of Glass Onion Ryan Johnson Each Knives Out movie was asked if there would be “scary people in beautiful places”.
He joked with Leslie Odom Jr, “This is our bread and butter,” and then brought up the popular suggestion that the next movie would be “Benoit Blanc with the Muppets.”
“That’s a pretty good idea,” replied Rian, and Daniel said, “It’s a really good idea!”
However, in an interview with Netflix’s official broadcaster, Tudum, Rian admitted that fans probably shouldn’t get their hopes up.
“It was a joke that I thought was pretty clever, and in the end I really gave up. [it] some serious thoughts,” he explained.
“I take the Puppet genre as seriously as I take the murder mystery genre.”

Unfortunately, Rian concluded: “Either there may be a Benoit Blanc mystery with the Puppets in it, but they will feel out of place. Or you can make a Puppet movie starring Benoit Blanc, but it will feel like a Puppet movie.
“I don’t want to compromise on either of them. And I feel like you have to make a choice and compromise on one or the other to make it good and make it work.
“If I do a Puppet movie, I want to make a great Puppet movie.”
