Geena Davis says Bill Murray ‘screamed’ and cursed her on set: ‘I was so embarrassed’

Geena Davis stepped forward with more details regarding Bill Murray’s alleged harassment on set.

The two starred together in the 1990 crime comedy. Quick change.

Davis has previously spoken about the couple’s infamous appearance in 1990. Arsenio Hall Show Murray touched Davis multiple times, swiping her fingers up and down his bare arm, and at one point pulling down the straps of his dress.

He also told about his choices rapid change, Meanwhile, Murray allegedly used a massager, which he called “The Thumper”, despite his repeated protests.

In a new interview with journalist Kara Swisher on her podcast, On with Black SwisherDavis also recalled Murray yelling at him to hurry up one day during filming.

“We were shooting a huge scene at a crossroads in Manhattan with hundreds of extras and giant crews and stuff,” Davis said. He later remembered that the assistant director had told him to stay in his trailer and wait for the costumes.

“Seconds later, Bill Murray – dressed in a full clown suit by the way – crashes into the trailer with eyeballs of rage and says to me, ‘Get out of there! What are you doing? Moving! Move!'” Davis said.

“And he got behind me and shouted in my ear, ‘Move! Move faster! Play that!’ And we come to this intersection where hundreds of people are watching this and it keeps going and going until they say ‘Stop there’ and point to a sign on the sidewalk and start shooting.

Davis said she was “literally shivering,” adding: “It’s actually very emotional for me to talk about it because, you know, I was so embarrassed for someone who wanted to make things right. You know?”
