The 33-year-old British actor wore a bright red custom Atelier Versace gown to the event, where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Miniseries for her role as Pamela Anderson on the Hulu series Pam & Tommy.
The strapless dress with a low-cut waist and fabric drapes on the skirt was praised by fans on social media for being the look of the night.

“She won the Lily James Best Dressed Award. Now everyone can go home, ”the Twitter user wrote @raventbrunner.

Others have said that James is in the “red age”, referring to the Taylor Swift album named after Hue.

Mama Mia! For the awards, the Here We Go Again star also debuted a sleek new bob that her hairstylist Halley Brisker says was inspired by “the bombshells of the 1990s.”

James’ beauty was thanks to makeup artist Nina Park, who used Charlotte Tilbury products in the star.
“Dear, Beauty & Skincare muse, GORGEOUS and TALENT @lilyjamesofficial looks absolutely flawless in tonight’s @GoldenGlobes nominated for her role on #PamAndTommy!” Tilbury shared a photo of James on her Instagram page.

James wasn’t the only star to be praised for his Golden Globe looks. House of the Dragon star Emma D’Arcy’s appearance was hailed as “stunning” by fans, and D’Arcy explained that the look they were looking for was a “child piano prodigy”.
