Tom Hanks is used to being endorsed at awards ceremonies – but his final endorsements are probably not what he had in mind with three nominations at this year’s Razzies.
Self-proclaimed ‘Oscars’ ugly cousin’ The Razzies have shared their annual shortlist for the worst performances and movies of the past year.
Netflix’s Marilyn Monroe movie Blonde topped the leaderboard with eight nominations, followed by Machine Gun Kelly’s “satire movie” Good Mourning, with Hanks being arguably the most shocking to include his two roles.

The double Oscar-winning actor was named worst actor for Gepetto in Disney’s remake of Pinocchio and worst supporting actor for this year’s award-winning darling Elvis.
He also managed to get a nod for “the worst couple on screen” for Elvis, who shared the joke with his “latex-laden face and ridiculous accent” as King’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
Disney’s Pinocchio (not to be confused with Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, which also hit theaters last year) was the third top-rated film in this year’s vote, nominated for six of the nine possible categories.

The critically-minded superhero movie Morbius is just behind with five actors, with lead actor Jared Leto pitting Hanks for worst actor.
The “winners” of this year’s awards will be announced on Saturday, March 11, one day before this year’s prestigious Oscar ceremony. Only a handful of candidates have attended, or even accepted, the ceremony so far.
With Sandra Bullock graciously attending the ceremony in 2010, she walked away with just one star Oscar and Razzie that same weekend.
Bullock, who picked the worst actress golden raspberries, then handed out DVDs of the “winning” All About Steve movie to the crowd from a wheelbarrow she pulled behind her back.
