The latest episode of The Sussexes’ controversial Netflix documentary has landed on the streaming platform.
The six-part series features interviews with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s close friends.
Among them is the 53-year-old actor, comedian and producer Tyler Perry, who helped the couple leave the UK for a new life in Los Angeles.
in the sixth chapter Harry and MeghanPerry compared “establishment” to “based on” in terms of the way the royal couple was treated.
He explained: “Using the institution to try and do everything a hitter would do, for example, what we’re going to do is, ‘we’re going to cut the money; we will not leave you security; We will do all these things so that you can fit in and come back’.

Perry continued to applaud the couple’s decision to step down from their royal duties.

He also reveals that he is the godfather of Harry and Meghan’s daughter, Lilibet.
Earlier in the clip, Perry revealed that he had watched his mother abused in the past and noticed similarities in the way Meghan and Harry were treated when they announced their decision to leave their royal duties.
“I saw my mother abuse for years,” Perry said. I knew the symptoms, I knew what it was like.”
“Everyone was like, ‘Tyler, how dare you compare this to your mother’s abuse?’ says,” he continues. “This woman was abused, and so is she, she.”
When they told everything with Orpah Winfrey in 2021, Harry and Meghan confirmed that their destination was a Los Angeles mansion owned by Perry when they left Canada for the US days before the first Covid lockdown.
Meghan shared that Tyler Perry said she wanted to do “everything” she could to support the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they moved to the US, describing their love for each other as “really, really touching”.
The actor who created the famous Madea character provided a home and security for Harry and Meghan, who moved to the US from Canada in 2020.
Elsewhere in episode six, Perry recalls a phone call he had with the couple after the birth of their daughter, Lilibet, born in June 2021, two years after their son Archie was born in May 2019. Perry agreed if he wanted to be Lilibet’s godfather.
Perry said he was “honoured” to be Lilbet’s godfather.
In the fifth episode of the Netflix series, Harry claims that Saray “lied to protect” his brother William.
The Duke of Sussex also claimed that his brother had yelled at and yelled at him during a “terrible” argument at the family’s Sandringham Estate.
